Bar open: Connecting people - Mixing until the chemistry is right!
Life Science Recruiting
Finally! The bars are open again. Even as a teenager, I liked to stand behind the bar rather than in front of it. I also liked standing in the lab as a chemist. Mixing, shaking, trying - until it fits! There are more parallels than you would think between my childhood dream of owning a cocktail bar and my agency in life science recruiting.
My job is a hobby: I mix clients and candidates, skills and projects, I look for specialists for special assignments, I want to bring the right people together. That has a lot to do with the right mix, but also with chemistry, style and ambience.
Everyone should be able to tell in a relaxed way where the journey is going, what's in the backpack and what shared adventures and challenges are waiting. "Hello: my client is interested in you, may I bring you both into the conversation? I am a mediator, talent scout, and perhaps also a matchmaker.
We mix, stir and shake for all it's worth. I leave no stone unturned: 0.2 cl ads, a dash of social media, filling up with direct approaches, crushing networks, a pinch of google adwords, underlaying with CV clouds, only the result counts!
Then closing time: clients and candidates have chatted and laughed together extensively and move on in groups or pairs. I know: This was a good thing. Here, people have found each other who can do something with each other and who will get something going together. And I had a spark at the bar, which makes me happy and proud!
Did you want to be linked with the right talents? Just give me a call!
